Access Revival Service - Privacy Policy

Introduction

The Access Revival Service is provided courtesy of iTech Masters (EverythingAccess.com).  This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the Access Revival Service and not to any other part of the website where the Access Revival Service is hosted.

Resellers

The primary Access Revival Service is located at EverythingAccess.com which is situated in the United Kingdom, however the Access Revival Service is also hosted at other websites where we have an agreement for them to resell our service.  Only minimal personal information is disclosed to resellers - resellers will not have access to data files that are supplied to iTech Masters for the use of the Access Revival Service unless you specifically give them permission (e.g. for research purposes).

For your information: if the domain name of the URL for the Access Revival Service differs from "EverythingAccess.com", then the service is being provided from within a reseller environment. 

We have made every effort to maintain the highest level of security for both the primary Access Revival Service and the reseller service in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (UK).

What This Privacy Policy Covers

  • Personal information that iTech Masters collects and receives regarding the registration process.
  • Data file contents that are supplied to iTech Masters for the sole purpose of repair/recovery using the Access Revival Service.
  • This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that iTech Masters does not own or control, or to people that iTech Masters does not employ or manage.

Registration Process

  • iTech Masters collects personal information when you register for the Access Revival Service.
  • If the Access Revival Service is being used from within a reseller environment, then the following personal information may be disclosed to the reseller company:
  • Name
  • Company Name (if applicable)
  • E-mail address.
  • Personal information that is obtained from you during the registration process is used for the following purposes by iTech Masters;
  • To ensure the security of future data files that you may upload to iTech Masters for the purpose of repair/recovery.
  • To contact you with details of the status of one or more recovery jobs by E-mail
  • When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name (if applicable) and address.  Once you register for the Access Revival Service and sign in, you are not anonymous to us.

Payments

  • iTech Masters collects the following information about your transactions with us and with our reseller partners.  (In the case of reseller partners, we obtain the following information only for the Access Revival Service);
    • Payment method
    • Payment currency and price
    • Personal information provided by the payment processor (e.g. name, e-mail address, physical address)

    Note: We do not hold any form of credit card payment information - you provide this information to the chosen payment processor and this information is never disclosed to us (or the reseller).

General

  • iTech Masters automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your web browser, including your IP address and cookie information, and the page(s) you request.

Confidentiality

  • All data files are secured on our servers using 128-bit encryption.  Files are decrypted only for the purpose of repair and then are re-encrypted immediately afterwards.
  • If an automated repair is not possible using our software, then an engineer will be assigned to review your data file manually.  Optionally you may choose to not allow an engineer to review your file - this is an option available at the time of upload.
  • At all times you are given the option of removing a data file that you have uploaded to our servers.  This will have immediate effect.
